Lindsey Ervin, MS, LSC, LPC
Partner with The Clarity Group and Owner of Go Well Counseling, LLC
Lindsey is a trusted provider in the community with over two decades in the field of mental health. She has a way of understanding people that brings immediate relief. She sees the being behind what’s overwhelming, what’s not working, and what needs to change. With clarity and compassion, she helps individuals and families rebuild confidence, create steady habits and routines, and move toward lasting emotional healing and stability and performance confidence. Lindsey’s core values guide her through every decision and interaction with her clients. Her mission is simple: to empower holistic well-being. Lindsey’s work integrates the mind and body so athletes, parents, entire families and high performers can truly thrive.
As an ADHD Specialist and mental sport performance consultant, Lindsey blends clinical expertise with the science of high performance to help clients who live under immense pressure. She understands the pace, intensity, and expectations faced by today’s high-achieving families and provides practical, evidence-based strategies to help them regulate their nervous system, improve focus, lower anxiety, and manage perfectionism. Lindsey’s work is especially impactful for ADHD, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, academic stress, burnout, athletic performance pressure, and the invisible load carried by high-performing moms, dads, entrepreneurs and high performing executives.
A Deeply Effective Nervous System Intervention: The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
Lindsey is also a Certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) Provider, offering one of the most impactful nervous-system–based interventions available today. The SSP is a non-invasive, research-backed, evidence-based listening protocol developed from polyvagal theory that helps regulate the autonomic nervous system and improve a person’s ability to feel safe, calm, and connected.
For youth athletes, students, and adults experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, sensory overload, burnout, or chronic stress, SSP often results in improved emotional regulation, reduced anxiety and irritability, enhanced focus and attention, greater resilience to stress, improved social engagement and communication, and increased capacity for learning, confidence, and performance.
What makes Lindsey uniquely equipped to deliver SSP is her ability to integrate it seamlessly with her mental performance work and therapeutic approach. She understands how to prepare the nervous system, how to pace the intervention, and how to connect the gains from SSP to real-life performance, school demands, and daily regulation strategies.
Lindsey’s clients often experience significant improvements in recovery after stress or competition, emotional stability during school or sports, ability to manage sensory stimulation, overwhelm or perfectionism, readiness to focus, learn, and connect, and performance consistency and confidence. SSP becomes even more powerful when paired with Lindsey’s micro-habit approach, helping clients build small, doable routines that reinforce nervous system regulation long after the protocol is complete.
A licensed therapist and mental performance consultant, Lindsey integrates CBT, mindfulness, neuroscience, performance and positive psychology. Whether you’re a youth athlete seeking confidence, a parent supporting a high-performing child, a student navigating ADHD or burnout, or an adult striving to excel without losing your well-being,
Lindsey will empower you with knowledge and practical skills, small but powerful micro habits, and proven strategies so you can be well, stay well, and perform well in every area of your life.
Lindsey is also the founder and owner of KSP Mental Performance, a specialized mental sport performance practice dedicated to the mental well-being and resilience of youth athletes. She created the SPARK Mental Performance Model™, a powerful framework that empowers athletes with practical mental skills, repeatable strategies, and simple micro habits that build confidence. With experience and expertise supporting athletes at competitive, club, and elite levels, Lindsey understands the emotional landscape of sport: the pressure to excel, the fear of making mistakes, the comparison, the perfectionism, and the intense emotional load athletes and their families often carry. Beyond individual athlete work, Lindsey’s athlete wellness programs support entire organizations using a systems-based approach. She collaborates with clubs, teams, directors, and coaching staff to build cultures that support resilience, emotional safety, mental performance, and long-term sustainable success.
